Michael P. Shane, Principal
Michael Shane has over 25 years banking experience with an emphasis on commercial lending and distressed loan workouts with community and regional banks, and national financial services companies at senior management levels. He is also an approved asset manager for the FDIC.
Mr. Shane is Chief Executive Officer for COMAC and oversees the development of special asset workout strategies. He is skilled in credit review, underwriting, commercial loan administration and loan disposition, and he has served as a Commercial and Residential Loan Officer at regional banks. As Director, Special Assets/REO for a regional bank in Boston his responsibilities included:
- Negotiating workout plans with borrowers, auditors and regulators to identify loan modification and disposition strategies that minimized impact on bank capital.
- Working closely with regulators, CEO’s, and management teams to document and classify over $300 million non-performing loans and real estate assets.
- Coordinating implementation of cease and desist orders with CEO and presenting specific disposition strategies, supported by financial analysis, to Board of Directors.
Mr. Shane holds a Master’s degree in Operations Management from the University of Southern California, and he is a licensed Certified Financial Planner™. He resides in Issaquah, Washington.
Terry Robinson, Principal
Terry Robinson is Chief Technology Officer for COMAC and is an experienced entrepreneur who applies his extensive knowledge of industry and government to create rapid revenue and profit growth opportunities in the financial services industry.
Terry has 20 years of management experience and oversees marketing and technology for COMAC. His background includes proven success in managing multimillion-dollar mortgage banking operations, always achieving profitability well within the time line given in the take over operational plans. He also is a leader in technology and service offerings and has demonstrated time and again innovative expense management.
In the past, he increased annual loan volume from $23 million in 2002 to $235 million in 2004 by taking over a full division, establishing new processes and building a network of referral business. He launched and grew production to $14 million monthly in six months by rapidly cultivating a regional sales team focused on large volume clients within the mortgage banking industry.
He has recently developed a nationwide network of commercial property consultants that specialize in CRE portfolios. His attributes include starting up other companies, and understanding motivation and opportunity as it presents itself. Terry has worked in the past in both banking and in commercial real estate consulting. He resides in Bend, Oregon.
Adrian Chorley, Principal
Adrian Chorley is the Managing Director of Private Equity Acquisition and Development for COMAC.
Adrian started his finance career in commercial real estate and finance in 1985. He was responsible for growing sales to a market leading $5 MM per quarter while managing a brokerage firm in Key West Florida.
In the mid 90ʼs, as the president of Renaissance Construction and Renovation Inc., Adrian worked closely with the Department of the United States Navy on the rehabilitation and construction of numerous naval installations in the Key West area.
Adrian has worked for several large lending institutions, including Greenpoint Bank and Citibank originating and underwriting commercial loans. In 2007, as managing director, he helped transform a fledgling commercial funding company into one of the premier SBA 504 lenders in the North Bay area.
As a Managing Director of COMAC, he is responsible for the development of private equity participation by hedge funds, private equity groups, insurance, and pension funds.
In 2000 he and his wife moved to “Wine Country” Sonoma County, California where they currently reside.
